We are a local family run company operating throughout Cornwall. We were born out of the need for a reliable property management company to care for our own portfolio of properties. We soon evolved into a specialist property management company, focusing on holiday homes and private second homes in Cornwall.
Changeover day is probably the most stressful day for any holiday homeowner or letting agent - it was for us! We would be on tenterhooks until we had received the text from our housekeepers to say that they had arrived at the property and weren't going to have to cancel at short notice leaving us without a cleaner.
Whilst this was a constant source of anxiety for us, we were lucky that we lived locally in Falmouth. So should the worst happen, we could usually muddle through. However, it soon became apparent that other holiday homeowners were all too used to the same problems, only they lived over a hundred miles away and couldn't make the drive down and clean before their guests arrived!
Over time we started to manage a few holiday lets, working closely with holiday letting agents, contractors and owners alike. Over time we grew organically, never concerning ourselves with being the biggest, simply to offer the best possible customer service to our clients and their guests. And so, Falmouth Cleaning & Property Management was born.
We are a local family who are lucky enough to call Falmouth home. We fell in love with the Carrick Roads, sheltered sailing waters and its beautiful hidden coves. How can you blame us really!
Having rented out both holiday lets and student properties, we very quickly came to realise that the difference between good and great cleaners was world's apart.
Will the cleaner turn up? Will they be on time? Will they clean well enough? What happens if they call in sick? These uncertainties are a nightmare scenario for anyone involved on holiday home rental.
